Announcement: Save the Date: SLAS Visiting Scholar, Photographer Susan Meiselas, to Speak April 1
Renowned photographer Susan Meiselas, whose documentation of
struggles for liberation and of human rights issues in Latin America, the
Middle East, and the United States has earned her international
recognition, will be the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Scholar in
Residence this spring.

Meiselas will deliver her keynote presentation on Wednesday, April 1, at
5 PM in Memorial Hall on the Brooklyn Campus. This event is free and open
to the public.
Students and faculty will be invited to other events during Ms.
Meiselas's visit to Pratt from March 31 to April 2. The Department of
Social Science and Cultural Studies is co-sponsoring this year's
residency, which is designed to engage members of the Pratt community in
conversations that cut across disciplinary divides.
