Announcement: Opening reception for student exhibition - Politics and Media - at Schafler Gallery on Thursday, February 26, 4-6pm

"Politics and Media: Pratt Students Respond"
Opening reception Thursday, February 26, 4-6pm
Exhibition dates: February 27-March 18, 2009

On Thursday, February 28, the Schafler Gallery, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn
will host an opening for "Politics and Media: Pratt Students Respond," a
multi-disciplinary Pratt student exhibition inspired by the Pratt
Manhattan Gallery exhibitions "Party Headquarters: Voting is Just the
Beginning" and "Zones of Conflict" or the theme in general. All Pratt
students were invited to submit one piece or a small series in any media
to the exhibition. Over 75 students submitted work in all media to this
exciting exhibition.

Eleanor Heartney and Larry Litt, guest-curators, "Party Headquarters:
Voting is Just the Beginning," currently at Pratt Manhattan Gallery, will
jury the exhibition for prizes and also be involved in a guest critique
of the student work on Tuesday March 10 at 12:30pm in the gallery.

3rd prize $100
and honorable mentions
