has achieved more than 250 patents, while its long-standing commitment to
the environment has brought many awards. Family-owned and privately held,
Haworth serves markets in more than 120 countries through a global
network of 600 dealers. Founded in 1948 in a garage in Holland, Michigan,
by Matthew's grandfather, G.W. Haworth, the company is headquartered
today in a 300,000-square-foot LEED Gold building and realized net sales
of US$1.66 billion in 2007. Haworth's strategic direction allows the
company to provide a broad set of solutions anywhere in the world with
the highest standard of quality.
Since joining his family-owned business in 1991, Matthew Haworth has held
a wide variety of roles in preparation for in-depth leadership of the
company.
Industrial designer Jeff Reuschel, the recipient of numerous professional
honors, joined Haworth, Inc. in 1981.
