Announcement: Friday Forum 2009 Reading Series

Friday Forum is a bi-weekly reading series and discussion
seminar organized by The Writing Program at Pratt to welcome writers,
editors, and critics to share their work and experiences with the Pratt
community.

This semester, the series will host poet and memoirist Doug Anderson, who
will read a sample of his work and answer questions from 12:00 to 1:50
PM, on, February 20, in the Engineering Building, Room 371, on Pratt's
Brooklyn campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Friday Forum also will host a panel featuring members of the Brooklyn
Writers Space on March 6; New Yorker pop music critic Sasha Frere-Jones
on April 10; and poet Alice Notley on April 17.

Friday Forum is directed by Nelly Reifler and Gina Zucker, visiting
assistant professors in the Humanities and Media Studies department,
under the supervision of Samantha Hunt, acting coordinator of The Writing
Program.
