Announcement: Mandatory Student Employee Training

Pratt Institute will be conducting the second annual MANDATORY
STUDENT EMPLOYEE TRAINING for all the new student employees. This
training is designed to help student employees their professional skills
and build good work place ethics.

We are running the program twice in order to accommodate differing
student schedules. Students will get paid for the time that they are in
training and need only attend one workshop. The workshops will take place
on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 from 12:45- 2 p.m. and October 16th from
5:45- 7 p.m. Both programs will be held in Engineering 371. Attendance at
one of the workshops is mandatory for all student workers who are working
at Pratt for the first time.

Students are also encouraged to access the web-based Student Worker
Manual using the Pratt Learning Management system. Both students and
supervisors can access the manual through the Learning Management System
at http://lms.pratt.edu/course/view.php?id=11582 .Pratt community members
need only to log in using their ONEKEY log in information (webmail)

All NEW student employees MUST attend and returning student employees are
also welcome. Please help us by making every effort to get your student
employees to attend one of these programs. It will be an enjoyable and
meaningful event.
