Announcement: Director of the Web Group Appointment
the position of Director of the Web Group in the Information Technology
Division. Bryan Wizemann comes to Pratt from a web design/development
consultancy with Bertelsmann. With over ten years of experience in the
interactive design industry, Bryan has created memorable web experiences
for clients ranging from the banking industry to fashion, entertainment
and not-for-profits.
Bryan's early experiences ranged from information architecture to
interaction design, identity creation to motion graphics and web
development. An Art Director and graphic/motion graphic designer, Bryan
has a degree in Philosophy from Cornell University, and was part of the
Hunter MFA program in fine arts. His primary focus is the creation of visceral
and engaging interactive design and development, from navigation systems,
to animation, to the overall look and feel of a site.
Bryan Wizemann is also an award winning screenwriter and director of
film. His short film work includes Button Soup, The Morning Sun, the
television pilot Cooklyn, and Film Makes Us Happy, which documents the
last fight he will ever have with his wife about making films. His
feature film Losing Ground was adapted from his critically acclaimed New
York stage play and features the original cast. It was called
"fascinating filmmaking that gets to the core of humanity" by Film
Threat, and is available from Netflix.
Bryan is currently the founder of Ballast Films, an independent film
production company in Brooklyn, New York. More information on his film
