Alert: Email Phishing Activity

An email phishing scam used to trick the recipient into replying with confidential information has targeted Pratt in the last 24 hours. The message has a subject line of: VERIFY YOUR PRATT.EDU WEBMAIL ACCOUNT. This message was not generated by Pratt Institute; it is a fake intended to lure you into disclosing your Social Security Number and date of birth.

Do not reply to this message and never divulge confidential information unless you're absolutely sure of how it's being used and by whom. Pratt Information Technology will never ask you for your Social Security Number or date of birth for any purpose.
