Announcement: Blood Drive Today February 12, 2008
February 12, 2008 from 12:30 to 6:00 PM
Please consider taking some time TODAY to donate blood. A few minutes of
your time can save the lives of five people. One pint of donated blood
can be separated into several components (red blood cells, white blood
cells, plasma, platelets and cryoprecipitate) to meet the needs of
various patients. For example, platelets give those with leukemia and
other cancers a chance to live, while red cells help accident victims get
well.
Anyone between the ages of 17 and 75 who weighs at least 110 pounds can
donate blood. Donate Blood now, people can't live without it!
