Announcement: Leadership Opportunity

Are you interested in being an RA, Orientation Leader, Tour
Guide or Career Services Peer Counselor? Getting involved on campus and
connecting to Pratt?

Please think about signing up for Connections. Connections is an
opportunity for students to learn about themselves, meet other
like-minded students and get involved at Pratt. Connections is
interactive, educational and fun. The five-week, not for credit class
addresses: communication skills, organizational skills, identity
awareness, diversity appreciation, decision-making and problem solving.

In order to apply for Orientation staff and Resident Advisor positions,
students must participate in Connections. Students who are interested in
becoming involved, but want to participate at Pratt in ways other than RA
and OL, are also encouraged to attend the class. Applications for Career
Services Peer Counselors and Admissions Tour Guides will be available
through the Connections class.

Interest sessions, explaining more about Connections and campus
leadership positions will be:

Monday, November 26th at 12:30pm in the Student Lounge, LL Main Bldg
Monday, November 26th at 7pm in the Pantas lounge
Tuesday, November 27th at 9pm in the Stabile lounge
Thursday, November 28th at 5:30pm in the Willoughby No Name Cafe

You do not have to attend an interest session to sign-up for Connections,
but we encourage you to attend if you have questions.

Sign up for the Connections class in the Office or Residential Life or
Student Activities. You must sign-up by Friday, December 14th.

Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Sincerely,

Katherine Hale Emma Legge
Assistant Director for Residential Life Director of Student
Activities
